We began delivering heirloom organic produce to Ottawa in 1997 and continued for eighteen years. Here’s a look at our final Ottawa season:

Welcome to Ottawa’s longest running CSA! 

A Sandy Hill exclusive - our 18th season and growing strong

          Two basket sizes: Deliveries start in May featuring spring greens, asparagus, and rhubarb. Summer favourites

             will include sweet corn and sweet potatoes. The fall brings its full harvest bounty!

May 20th through October 28th... 24 delicious weeks!

You pay for 21 weeks and can be away or skip 3 deliveries during the season. 

Not taking off?  Additional weeks may be purchased at the end of September

          New this year! Pastured chicken and pastured pork. Chickens will be available mid-July and early October

             as whole birds. Pork will be available in October by 20-25 lb mixed-cut boxes or by the side. Stay tuned for

             pre-order details.

What’s in a basket?

                Here are some content lists from 2013:

               May 21 - Mixed kale, spinach (bag), nettles (bag), lovage, sorrel, magenta spreen (bag), parsnip,

                               La Ratte potatoes, spring onions, garlic scallions, rhubarb, and asparagus.

               June 11 - Lettuce, Swiss chard, mixed kale, spinach, magenta spreen, asparagus, rhubarb, Fianna

                               potatoes, radish, garlic scallions, and spring onions.

               July 2 -   Carrots, Chioggia beets (eat those tops!) scallions, kohlrabi, garlic scapes, mixed kale,

                              cilantro, parsley, lettuce, escarole, and snow peas.

               August 13 - Cabbage, green beans (Bountiful & Contender), beets (Chioggia, white, & golden),

                                   carrots, turnips (Hakurei & Scarlet Queen), scallions, kohlrabi, China Rose radish,

                                   lettuce, Swiss chard, basil, zucchini, parsley, and tomatoes.

               September 3 - Lettuce, cabbage, basil, zucchini, tomatoes, turnips, carrots, scallions, garlic, onions,

                                       yellow beans, corn, Italian parsley, and beets.

               September 24 - Tomatoes, spaghetti squash, sweet peppers, green and yellow beans, snow peas,

                                         leeks, arugula, mizuna, mustards, komatsuna greens, Swiss chard, carrots,

                                         and corn.

               October 8 -  Winter Luxury Pie pumpkin, green & red sweet peppers, tomatoes, carrots, leeks,

                                   Purple Viking potatoes (crisp white flesh), arugula, mibuna, mustards, komatsuna

                                   greens, Swiss chard, fennel, onion and garlic.
